WELCOME FRESHMAN!!

Updated Incoming Freshman for the 2022 Season.

Head Coach Jeff Monbeck usually visits all three Middle Schools in the early spring to meet with student athletes who are interested in participating in soccer at the high school. Watts Middle School on Monday, April 11, Magsig Middle School on Wednesday, April 13, and Tower Heights on Thursday, April 14. Announcements will be made at school.

Incoming Freshman Player/Parent Meeting - Monday, May 2, 2022 at 7:00PM in the West Commons.

In June, we usually hold strength and conditioning sessions 3 days per week. These sessions are held on the turf at the soccer stadium behind Magsig Middle School.Bring running shoes, cleats, a soccer ball, shin guards and water to every session. You never know what's going to happen. We may decide to play small sided or we may decide to do some running. Having options is always good. You will not be allowed to participate if you don't have shin guards. July normally involves Open Fields, training, and fitness. We will post the schedule on the program calendar.

We will continue to update this page and twitter as we get closer to June and have more information.

We understand the anticipation to start your high school soccer career and will hope the information below will help ease some of that. The links below should offer all the information you need. Please feel free to contact head coach, Jeff Monbeck with any questions.

Expectations...
The success of the program over the years has come from the preparation and commitment of the players in the offseason Start working out and training NOW!! Don't wait in July to get in shape or you will find yourself playing catch up.

We understand players have a lot going on in the summer but we hope that everyone can make it to ALL sessions. Please know that everything in June and July is OPTIONAL. Take a vacation, work, do whatever you have to do. Once August comes, attendance is MANDATORY. To be considered for a team you MUST attend tryouts. If you make a team, ALL team/program functions are mandatory.

If you plan on playing another sport, please let the coaching staff know.

Required Paperwork...

Please print all the forms below. These forms are required to be turned. We will announce the deadline in July. I recommend getting the Physical in the spring. The school no longer offers physicals so you will have to schedule an appointment with your family doctor. Physicals are good for 1-year from the date of the exam. Please make sure your doctor completes the entire form. The date of Exam is important. We cannot accept forms that are incomplete.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD FORMS FROM OUR WEBSITE OR THE SCHOLL ATHLETIC WEBSITE UNTIL JUNE.
(The current forms are for the 2021-2022 school year and are not valid for 2022-2023)

Code of Conduct Form
Concussion Information Sheet
Emergency Medical Release Authorization
OHSAA Physical Exam Form
